Museum Semi-Permanent Display
The Mundaring District Museum has a semi-permanent exhibition that celebrates the history and people of all the localities within the Shire of Mundaring.
Many of the objects on display remain in the museum, whilst some our swapped out from time to time as we update the space throughout the year with different histories, along with supporting objects.
MHHS volunteers are active within our community, visiting historical sites and researching continuously throughout the year facilitating the discovery of new histories as well as updating current stories. Our office is also busy with visitors generously donating objects, family stories and historical information.
The new semi-permanent exhibition layout enables us to share these new discoveries and newly donated objects and photographs on a regular basis.
This will also include:
-
Aboriginal History
-

-
Golden Pipeline
-
Tunnels & Trains

-

-
