DECEMBER 2022 CHRISTMAS

During this time of preparation for Christmas activities and end of school year concerts we thought we would show you these local photographs. This photo is dated 1927 and shows the actors in Mundaring School’s Christmas play of The Merchant of Venice. The five actors in costume are Alf Kriep, Dulcie Ingram, unnamed person, Joyce Ingram and Ethel Madderen.

The photo below is dated 1922 and this time shows Mundaring School’s Christmas Concert

The students are dressed in costume. The back row are all boys. Many of the students are dressed in

costumes. Some are holding wands and wearing headbands in the shape of a star.

If you can name any of these people or have old photos of school activities we would welcome the

opportunity of taking copies for our collection.

This Christmas card was sent from the Mundaring Road Board in 1937
